Run outcomes by email

Tick one box to get an email when your run succeeds, fails or needs review — to your own account address only, and off until you ask for it.

For anything long enough that you will leave the tab, email is the channel that actually reaches you.

Turning it on

Settings → Preferences → "Email me when a run finishes". That is the whole setup.

You then get an email when one of your runs succeeds, fails or needs review, with the outcome, the estimated cost, and a link to the run.

The rules

  • Opt-in and per user. Off until you turn it on, and it never emails anyone else.
  • Only to your own account address. There is no field for another recipient — that would make FlowArray a way to email arbitrary people.
  • Only your own runs. A colleague's batch does not fill your inbox.
  • Untick to stop, immediately.

Narrowing it

Set notify on to only failures and success goes quiet. For a flow on a schedule that is usually what you want: mail means something needs you.

Prefer one summary to a stream? Use the digest instead — daily or weekly, at an hour you choose. And if one particular flow is the noisy one, mute just that flow rather than turning the channel off.

If email does not arrive

  1. Check the toggle is actually on, and that notify on is not set to failures-only for a run that succeeded.
  2. Check the flow is not muted — by you, or workspace-wide by an admin.
  3. Check whether you have a digest configured: a digest replaces the per-run pings with one summary at the chosen time.
  4. Look in spam, then ask an admin — outbound email needs a configured sending service on the installation.
